Australian Dexter-Limousin Cross -------------------------------------- If you recall, I said this esrlier in the topic... "On the Australian Dexter Society site, a Dexter-Limousin won it's beef class out of a big field, and a Limousin-Dexter came second. They point out that the Limousin Bull ...

Beef Dexters ------------------ I actually call mine beef Dexters when I show them to beef customers (small 'b' in beef) to get a point across. It works. They are just Dexters like anyone else's, but zero shorts for the butcher because I get up to 50% more beef from my non-shorts and the taste is t...

Had 2 new calves this morning within minutes of each other, one male black and one female black, so the stats are coming into line as you predicted. What an amazing run of red females and black males though. I'm not a gambler, but I would imagine the chances of such a run when the odds are 50/50 or...

Peter / Woodmagic One can always quote a disaster to make a point. I would have used Hereford's as an example. I totally agree about Holstein's and others. My only desire is to produce delicious and healthy beef and to tell people about it instead of hiding it away. Can't believe you don't rate the...
