It is a normal condition on any mortgage that the mortgage company have your property as security.

I can understand you not wanting to give your main home as security, but for them to ask for the barn as security is perfectly normal.

Sounds like a nightmare. What more can you do other than fitting one the gate hinges upside down as suggested?

I had better re-think my security as well, the only thing stopping anyone taking my livestock trailer at the moment is a flat tyre!

When did the passports come in? If it was in 2005 then this should match the breed population figures, but in a normal years won't the number of passport applications = number of births?
