AI advertised bulls need to have linear assessment, not bulls for hire.
As for the quality of bulls on AI in the past, its people who can afford to take semen who did it. the quality of the bull did not always matter.

You are absolutely correct Ann, a linear score stays with an animal forever. Not sure which bull you have or why it has happened. Send me an email and I will have a look into it.

Rob, HUK have now sorted this out and the official score has now been sent through to the DCS this month. Sorry for the delay,this seems to have been a one off and hopefully it will not stop you from having more of your cattle linear assessed.

The society National Show judging takes place on Weds 27th June at the Royal Norfolk Show, nr Norwich. Its a huge agricultural show in the traditional sense of the word with the usual livestock. There will be lots of dexters to view on both days 27th/28th June so why not come along and visit us all,...

Its a few years ago but i lost a calf in mine, it suffocated, the vet was castrating it so we were at the other end, very distressing.

Rob, i am not sure what happened, have you a specific date and assessors name or signature on the back of the green pedigree certificate.

I took a steer in today 210kg graded R3 , nearly 24 months old, wish they were all like that. This chap wintered out as well.
