Can someone help, because I only have a few Deaxters I didn't really want to buy a bull so I have been having them A.I'd however I don't think that this has been very successfull and is also expensive. Does anybody know of anyone in the southwest Somerset area with a good bull with respectable history and preferably black and non-short.
Also could anyone tell me the sort of price hiring a bull will cost?
I've been hiring a bull, and it generally costs me £20 service fee per cow, plus something towards the cost of transporting the bull, unless I can collect.
Are you a member of your local Dexter society? They often know of people who have bulls for hire.
