I need to go away on business in May and think I will be expecting too much for friends to cattle sit for a week

What would be a fair price to pay someone to inspect the stock daily? Probably about an hour per day to include fuel (probably 20 miles in total).

If you have a retired friend or neighbor why not offer them some home grown beef next time you have some and a contribution towards their fuel costs. :) :)

£20 total per day? £10 for the time, £10 for travelling?

Thanks Clive, £20 was what I had in mind. It is taking me up to an hour at the moment, but come May there won't be an feed to sort out, so it will probably be more like half an hour. I thought an less would be asking a bit much of somine to go out and check the stock.
