Hi

Just to add my sympathies on your loss, we lost a steer 5 years ago to what was suspected to be Blackleg, so we now vaccinate with Bravoxin 10 which covers tetanus, blackleg and also other related problems.

Clive, I have just ordered another lot of replacement tags from Fearings because they do come out and break. I have a bull calf that has lost both of his. The latest one broke when he rubbed his head on a wire fence - I found the bits of that one. But I can't work out how he lost the other. I found it intact by the water trough, but he hasn't any damage to his ear. I did complain to Fearings the last time I saw them at a show, maybe I should not have.
