I have a heifer (first calf) due in about 4 weeks (judging by her size it's triplets)who is currently running with an older cow and a few steers. Should I:
a. Leave her as she is to get on with it?
b. Separate the cows and steers?
c. Separate the heifer and leave her by herself? inside/outside?
The last course seems a bit stressful as I don't know the exact date the calf is dur.
Any thoughts.
