Would be interested in your thoughts on how a dun bull and a black cow can produce a red calf? Also have found that when using a dun bull over a Murray Grey coloured 1st cross cow, the result was an almost albino coloured animal. She was white in coat, not a dark hair on her and her skin pigment around eyes and nose etc, very light. When she was born we thought she was blind as she kept running into fences, but the eyes were normal darker brown as she matured and she did not have any problems with her vision.
