Not sure what type of testing is required, but Agribiogen in Germany do scrapie genotyping, not sure about DNA. Worth checking with them.

Prior to Jean having Simply Red on hire we had him on loan in the Brereton herd. Just to endorse Jeans comments excellent temperament etc. we also have 2 superb heifer calves by him. If anyone is after a red Dexter bull he is well worth hiring.

That quarter sold for £207. The whole carcass sold for £867 i.e. meat £3.20lb and offal £1.60lb. Slaughter and butchering costs £150.
