I've managed to replicate the issue in Internet Explorer so thank you for the feedback.

I'll put it on my list of things to do over the Christmas break when I have some time.

I've applied the latest discussion board update to make sure security and new features are up to scratch.

Sorry everyone, there was a setting I hadn't changed that limited the total size of what everyone could upload.

I've tested it and all is working well now.

Have you tried doing a Post / Get request to the search box? Maybe you could automate a request through the link instead, and not have to worry about the PDC issue.
