URGENT - CALF REQ'D

Post by Tim Watson »

Devastated this morning as we have had a stillborn calf.
If any knows of anyone who has a calf that needs homing please call me on 07803 959269. We're in North Devon.

Have reconsidered and wont be getting a calf. Risk is too high.
Thanks for your kind words

That's grim - sorry for your loss.

Happened to us last year. We dried the cow off by giving her access to only water and a little hay, and keeping a close eye on her udders for inflammation. It took about a week, but no apparent ill effects.
