Finding a bull to hire was somewhat a bit difficult and so we found ourselves buying Woodmagic Wolfe, niether long nor short he is a medium leg animal. So far he's turned out to be a nice gentle animal and with his five cows seems very content with life. Me and my very pregnant wife live in north dorset so if anybody around this area would like to hire him then please e-mail me as he will be ready for dare i say it work next month. Did anybody else see the farmers weekly article on co-operatives, makes for an interesting read when it comes to small farms with an individual market. One last thing this animal is a credit to it's former owner Penny Hogg who put all the effort into the animal and her efforts ensured a nice tempered animal. All the best for the new year.
