I agree Rob, you have got to keep your costs down. I run a 40 year old (tax free) Landrover but don't cut corners with my cows.

It's important to cut unnecessary costs (per animal or per kg) not corners. I've managed 16 years without a crush, and still don't feel a need for one. Should have bought a weigh years ago, mind.
