Dexter Cattle For Sale Discussion Board

Catalogue for York Rare Breed Sale out now - quite a few Dexters about 30 in including some that have been put in the non-registered section as owner not a member i think as advertised as previously registered. Seem to be 5 Churcholme cattle bred by Penny Hodgson and a Nentsberry cow with calf.

always worth checking ear tags against the society database as its not uncommon for "un-registered" to actually be fully registered animals that have moved on through owners who aren't society members.

We have our bull Humberdale Padison entered, and it looks like a cow of our breeding Humberdale Pansy is entered. Both currently for sale on here.

Yes they have put eartag numbers up for those cattle thats how i found out about the Churcholme cattle entered by C Dews. But you are right may be worth checking tags of others.

I bought two, despite not being there, and helped to push the prices up on others. A mixed bag though, so I understand.
