Having hopefully found someone to take care of my cows feet my next concern is how safe is it to carry out this procedure when the animals are in calf? Since our ladies seem to spend most of their time in this condition how late is too late? I have received some dire warnings from local farmers regarding malpresentations if you use a turnover crush. Has anyone had any experience of this? At what point do you say the foot discomfort outweighs the risks involved as these foot people only want to come out to you if you have a large number of cows to be done at the same time?
